It was a victorious night for the Hawk basketball teams Tuesday.
The varsity boys defeated Dwight 74-53 in a game broadcast live on Fairbury News with Mike Norris and Erich Murphy on the call. Four PC players were in double figures and Drew Haberkorn was the high scorer with 21, Dylan Bazzell and Camden Palmore each had 15 and Tyler Curl contributed 11.
The defense held up and did a good job keeping the ball out of the paint despite a cold shooting night by PC.
Meanwhile, Coach Gabby Zeedyk’s varsity girls basketball team won over LaSalle-Peru 52-45. Chloe Sisco was leading scorer with 20 and Mariya Sisco was the leading rebounder and steal leader with 13 rebounds and five steals.
