With all of the county precincts reporting as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Danny Watson narrowly got past Julie Runyon 2,091 to 2,021 votes in the race for Livingston County Coroner.
Watson took 50.85 percent of the vote to Runyon’s 49.15 percent. These are unofficial results as the final totals still have to be calculated due to absentee ballots.
The Livingston County tax for senior social services proposition was defeated with 3,326 no votes over 2,357 yes votes with the no’s getting over 58 percent of the vote. Fairbury’s city cannabis proposition was defeated as well with 381 no votes to 250 yes.
