Fairbury Speedway owner and promoter Matt Curl assures race fans they will not be disappointed when taking in a race this season.
Curl looks forward to Saturday night’s opening night FALS Cup action at the speedway after a long off-season for Curl’s crew.
“We are definitely excited to open up another great season of racing here at the Fairbury Speedway,” Curl told Fairbury News. “We’ve got some upgrades around the grounds that we are really excited to break out tomorrow.”
Saturday’s regular night of racing includes late models, modifieds, sportsman, street stocks and hobby mods. Curl feels he has a great team in place to get another racing season rolling.
Plenty of great racing is planned for the year including the big Prairie Dirt Classic race in July and a big show next Saturday. A country concert featuring artist Cole Swindell is even slated for August.
Information on all races and events at the speedway can be found at www.fairburyspeedway.com.
