Prairie Central’s Kerigan Fehr has officially signed to play Division 1 volleyball at the University of Southern Indiana.
A signing ceremony was held Wednesday evening at Prairie Central High School.
“I’m so excited for this opportunity to play the sport I love at the University of Southern Indiana,” Fehr said. “I’m so thankful for my friends, family and coaches. You really can achieve your goals if you work hard.”
PC head volleyball coach Kirsten Smith said Fehr has put so much work into being the best she can be at volleyball.
“She put in her time and effort into reading the situations and figuring out how she can control her body to manipulate the volleyball in every situation she can think of,” noted Smith.
Fehr’s teammates have spoken very highly of her as Smith says she is a great person on and off the court.
“I look forward to seeing all of the great plays she continues to make for her new team but also her future off the court,” added Smith.
Fehr reached 1,000 high school varsity career digs in October.
