The ribbon has officially been cut for Sealtite Insulation and Slabjacking’s new facility on the west side of Fairbury.
Members of the Fairbury Area Chamber of Commerce and the public toured the building Saturday morning during an open house which gave visitors the chance to meet the team and enjoy refreshments.
“It’s a good day,” Sealtite owner Jeremy Leman told Fairbury News.
According to Leman, the building is “99.9 percent” done and everything has worked out great since the business moved from the previous location down the road.
“People have been asking if we are going to have an open house because we are right on the highway and they’ve been seeing it for months as it has been going up,” explained Leman. “It is exciting to let people come in and check it out.”
The building became operational last spring and serves as the new office and warehouse space. Office staff members have their own offices, there are meeting rooms and even extra space the company can grow into. The facility was built out of necessity due to growth.
Leman Builders and Blunier Builders were among the companies that did work on the building.
Sealtite does spray foam and slab jacking and all types of insulation. Slabjacking, or concrete lifting, can include everything from grain bins and shop floors to driveways and even homes.
“Stop in. We are open 8 to 5,” adds Leman.
