Sawyer Ashman was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Prairie Central girls basketball team Monday night in a contest with Coal City.
The Hawks fell to Coal City 52-23. Ashman had 6 points and 7 rebounds while Abi Nimbler and Jayla Hammond each had 4 points, Lucy Whitfill had 3, Carmen Gradberg and Kelly Wilkey each contributed 2 and Kyrsten Atkins and Alayna Anderson each had 1.
PC returns home to take on St. Thomas More this Thursday night at PCHS.
