Four JH wrestlers going to state

Four Prairie Central Junior High wrestlers are advancing to the state tournament this weekend at DeKalb.


They include:


Eli Webster – fourth place – 65 pounds


Parker Followell – second place – 85 pounds


Brady Carrion – third place – 90 pounds


Kellan Spisok – third place – 100 pounds.


Those competing in this past weekend’s sectional at Canton included:  Eli Webster, Kellen Willis, Brady Carrion, and Xander Hada who were all Regional Champions. Others were Colton Slagel, Branson Slagel, Parker Followell, Kellan Spisok, Braxton Acklin, Zoe Zimpel-Hoeft, Xander Shevokas, and Cade Freed. 


Owen Bassett qualified for the IKWF State Tournament, placing second in his regional and third in his sectional in the 86 pound class to advance. IKWF state is in Peoria Friday and Saturday.
