Fire Prevention Week at PCE

Numerous activities were featured during Fire Prevention Week this month at Prairie Central Elementary in Fairbury.

Second graders toured fire trucks at the school while third graders visited the EMT and fire station.

A fourth grade assembly covered important themes such as having an escape plan in case of a fire, placing extinguishers in the home, having a carbon monoxide detector and making sure there are working smoke detectors.
