The annual Fairbury Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade made a return to downtown on Saturday after a year away.
Based on the number of people lining the streets, many were happy to see the return of this longtime holiday tradition along with other activities such as pancake and sausage breakfast fundraisers, holiday cookie sales and visits with Santa.
Saturday's weather was great for a parade and other outdoor activities, such as horse and carriage rides, as temperatures hovered in the mid-40s with plenty of sunshine. This good weather allowed for plenty of restored classic cars to participate in the parade.
