(Dancers are shown during last year's Freedom Festival in Fairbury)

Children’s activities, handcrafted wood toys, antique autos and live music will all be included at this Saturday’s Fairbury Freedom Festival (June 10) at Marsh Park.

Fun is planned for everyone from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. An opening ceremony is set for 11 a.m. and musical entertainment includes the Twin Cities Brass Quintet performing from 12-12:45 and 1:30-2:15 p.m. and the ARCulele Hour ukelele group performs from 3-4. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair.

Food will be served by Woody and Bubba’s Food Truck with desserts by the Charity Home Rebekah Lodge.

The Fairbury Freedom Festival is sponsored by Fairbury Echoes Museum and VFW Auxiliary.
