Gracie Edelman reached 1,000 varsity career assists Thursday night in a volleyball matchup against Pontiac.
Edelman celebrated the milestone at Pontiac, after the PC varsity team went 2-0 (25-23, 25,12). Kerigan Fehr had 8 service points and 2 aces along with 9 kills. Edelman had 10 assists while Carley Chambers had 12 defensive digs and Gyllian Davies with 9.
The match had a couple of really long rallies indicating just how competitive the teams can get.
“Carley Chambers had wonderful movement tonight,” said Coach Smith. “Sawyer Ashman played a lot of balls close to the net.”
PC is now 11-2.
The sophomores fell 17-25, 19-25 while the freshmen went 2-0 winning 25-15, 25.14.
“We had some of our student section show up which is always great to have at our matches,” added Smith.
