Two people were hospitalized after a crash around midday Monday at the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and McLean County Road 3360 East, also referred to as the Weston Blacktop.
District Six State Police report a 2020 Ford F350 truck was traveling south on the Weston Blacktop when the vehicle ran the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection, striking the driver side axles of a semi traveling east on U.S. 24. Authorities say two passengers in the Ford truck were taken to an area hospital with injuries while the drivers of both vehicles were not injured.
State Police indicated no further information is available on the wreck which happened between Fairbury and Chenoa.
