An area business gave back to the community on Friday by decorating the downtown Fairbury gazebo.
Compass Insurance Partners employees donate a full day of giving back each year through an initiative called “Compass Cares.”
“We know that time is an important commodity and we feel like giving our time to various projects in the community is a good way to give back to a community that gives us so much,” said Dayton Kilgus with Compass.
This was just one way for the company to make a small difference, according to Kilgus.
“We are thankful to Rebekah Fehr and the Chamber of Commerce for providing the lights and supplies we needed and to the Bank of Pontiac for donating the nativity scene.”
