Halloween will be a busy one in Fairbury this year with numerous events planned for Saturday.
The city’s regular trick-or-treat hours are scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Also, the First Baptist Church of Fairbury will hold a Trunk or Treat outdoors from 2-4 p.m. and the Indian Creek Country Club will hold its first Trick-or-Treat walk 5:30-7:30 p.m. sponsored by local businesses. Burgers, hot dogs and chili will be for sale along with goodies from the Coffee Steamer.
Another activity includes the gathering of witches for a photo at 4:30 p.m. at the Indian Creek Country Club. They are looking for a yard long picture this year and are hoping to reach this goal. Organizers say to bring your brooms and witch hats. Plus, the Pistol Packing Mamas will play at 7:30 p.m.
