The annual Breakfast on the Farm from the Livingston County Farm Bureau Young Leaders is set for this Saturday, June 10 at Kilgus Farmstead south of Fairbury.
A breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee and orange juice will be served for $1 from 7 to 10 a.m. All proceeds benefit Livingston County food pantries and the dollar represents the approximate amount of money the farmer makes for growing or raising the ingredients.
Those attending the breakfast will also be able to view agricultural displays, tour the dairy farm and participate in family activities at no cost.
To get to Kilgus Farmstead, turn south at the stop light on Route 24 onto First Street and go one mile. The farm is on the right.
